Poisoning is an important health hazard and one of the leading causes mortality morbidity worldwide The incidence poisoning cases increasing steadily with each passing year. Burden high but less authentic data available on it as hospital records, population surveys registered by governmental authorities. With this background, present study conducted to determine various socio –demographic factors responsible for in patients. It was observational study, carried out District Civil Hospital. All patients admitted history or suspected Hospital who attended casualty, ICU ward during period were included study. Written informed consent taken from relatives. Information collected his/her accompanying family members if condition case found be unfavorable respond questions. Majority age group 15-44 years (81.52%), 60.23% married. commonest poison which exposed organophosphorus compound seen 61.36%) cases. most common cause consuming domestic 324 (45.70%). Presentstudy showed that commonly working group. Males consumed/exposed more compared females. Married males affected more. Most compounds.
